The 2021 growing season in Napa Valley brought exceptional drought conditions, yielding smaller crops with intensely concentrated fruit. Thanks to cool nights, abundant sunshine, and minimal heat spikes, the vintage delivered perfectly ripened berries with remarkable structure and vibrancy—hailed by winemakers as a dream year. 

Our 2021 Dark Matter Zinfandel is a bold reflection of this brilliance, offering an exotic nose of black, white, and pink peppercorn, pomegranate, red plum, raspberry, currant, clove, nutmeg, Bing cherry, cranberry, green tea leaf, and a whisper of cedar. On the palate, it explodes with velvety tannins and bright acidity, showcasing layers of black and white pepper, pomegranate, plum, red and black cherry, raspberry, dark chocolate-covered pomegranate, black tea leaf, semi-dark chocolate, thyme, nutmeg, and clove.
